The multidisciplinary FabLab born in this area supports anyone who wants to develop a project related to all areas of Regional Smart Specialization Strategy (S3) (Aerospace, Life Sciences, Cultural Heritage and culture technologies, Agrifood, digital creative industries, green economy and security) providing machines and know-how for the development of new projects of digital fabrication.
The main machines consists of three 3D printers (2 FDM: DeltaWasp 20×40 and Zortrax 200 and 1 printer SLA: Form1 +) and CNC milling machine MDX-40ARoland that is equipped with the 4th axis rotary dedicated which allows performing machining on two and four faces automatically.
In addition to the prototyping sector, MDX-40A is equipped with a contact scanning probe installed on the machine spindle. The probe ZSC-1 can capture the surfaces located on the work table with a centesimal resolution.
Even the laser cut Trotec Speedy 100 is equipped with rotating accessory for laser engraving of round objects, cylindrical or conical, such as glasses or bottles.
It is the production area dedicated to digital fabrication.
A real creative workshop in which the members can realize, for itself, a physical object from a simple file with machines for the digital manufacture.
There are also a mechanical and electronic table, 3D printers, laser cutters machine for engraving and cutting of various materials, 4-axis milling machine, printing & cutting device, compact and versatile, to create the most diverse graphical indoor and outdoor applications.Read More
This area is dedicated to the analysis, acquisition and design, 3D scanning, surface and solid modeling, video, graphics, design of physical and virtual products, interactive design and new media.
On Latina site it is available a Windows and a Mac Pro workstation for 3D modeling, graphic and video design, the Wacom Cintiq 27 “ for digital drawing and photo editing, Arduino and Raspberry Pi boards for rapid prototyping .
The Interactive Lab also has tools for applications in AR and VR and other applications for interaction design thanks tools such as Leap Motion, Kinect and Oculus.Read More
